  • Provide and maintain the Portal and your account.

  • Facilitate communication between founders, LPs, and the NextGen team.
  • Display portfolio and investment information to authorised users.
  • Improve the Portal and develop new features.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored using Google Firebase services located in the Australia Southeast 1 (Sydney) region. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, HTTP-only session cookies, and server-side permission checks to protect your information.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your personal information with:

  • Other Portal users: your name and role may be visible to other authenticated users in the context of updates and company information.
  • Service providers: we use Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting) and Vercel (deployment) to operate the Portal. These providers may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

The Portal uses a session cookie (__session) to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is HTTP-only and expires after 5 days. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the Portal. Your continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
